Like Mama Used to Make
This isn't like any ordinary Italian restaurant. No detail has been overlooked; everything from the focaccia bread and pizza crust to the sauces and desserts are house-made and done exceedingly well. Servers are very proficient at their jobs, and the Pagano's made us feel welcome and comfortable, taking the time to explain any menu items about which we had questions.    [17 Aug 2002 20:47:32]

Could have been better
I hadn't been to Pagano's for about 6 months and stopped in for an early dinner. Most of the time the food is very good. I ordered a dinner, garlic and oil spaghetti (it's not on the menu but they said they would make it) and a salad. The salad came cut up in small pieces that you could barely fork and you had to scoop it up. The salad dressing was in a packet they lay on top of the salad. The bread was hot but had no flavor - tasted like left over pizza dough. When I received my dinner plate, it had oil but I could not see any garlic. When I asked the waitress if there was garlic in it, she said yes, they use the powder, the same shakers that are on the table for adding flavor to your pizza. I kind of expected some real garlic sauteed with the oil. Guess I need to find somewhere else for this dinner. The service was excellent. That's my opinion.    [09 Feb 2003 14:22:07]

No Good!
Burned bottom of pizza. Skimpy on cheese and sauce. Not very accommodating and the help was nasty.    [18 Sep 2003 06:20:36]
