Frogger's Froggers used to be a great place to hang out. Friends and I would be up there all the time for wings, drinks and a round of darts.
Now that place is nothing but a joke. New ownership has taken over and done nothing to fix it. Service is horrible. The environment is very unfriendly as well as the employees. Some of the managers are very arrogant and the wings have become very dry and the food is starting to taste absolutely horrible.
Needless to say I will not be going back there, along with several other of my friends! [18 Feb 2006 20:29:01]

What Happened Was there once when the changes were occurring and thought, "OK, that is what the problem was." Went back just the other night and although the place looks nice that was it.
The service was awful we sat at the bar there were supposedly 2 bartenders and less than 10 people sitting there and it was 20 minutes before we were acknowledged.
The food came out cold; the roll was hard; no condiments came with it nor were offered. When I went to restroom, one woman said she told her server there was no kraut on her Reuben and was told "better luck next time." Well, I think that was my last time there. [13 Apr 2006 17:03:46]

Crap Our server was so bad. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks and even longer for a refill. Half the wings were under cooked and bloody. The other half were ok. The kids dishes were still good - mac and cheese and chicken fingers - but how hard is it to mess them up? They had better do something to turn this place around. [11 Jan 2007 15:34:27]

The Best Wings Around I was really surprised to see all of the negative comments, especially regarding the wings! Then again, the wife and I always order the same things so maybe it's just a coincidence they do better on them? For some unknown reason we had not been there since the change in management (was pretty obvious) but really had a hankering for wings one weekend back in December, so, remembering Frogger's was only a few miles away we went and discovered they had begun offering grilled wings. They are oh-so-much tastier than fried. Maybe the negative posts involved the latter? And I can't forget to mention the truly awesome homemade blue cheese! We have returned many times since and find the taste, quality and size (much larger than elsewhere) to be consistent.
We do get a good server more times than not, but when it's "not," it can be frustrating, but has so far not reached the level of complaining to a manager, one of whom is occasionally seen making rounds ensuring patron satisfaction. We find it unlikely that a server would say anything resembling “better luck next time” as alleged in a prior post. That kind of comment would certainly get you fired.
Still not sure why they feel the need to turn up the jukebox so loud; it's not a nightclub and nobody's dancing, lots of televisions but they’re muted so...often we have to shout to be heard by servers and others at the table, but I believe they only blast the music at night and/or weekends.
Overall though, the (grilled) wings are SO freakin’ good the cons just cannot compete with the pros and we will continue to eat there. [10 Feb 2007 00:11:29]
