It was my favorite restaurant for 15 years!
We went a few weeks ago and the food/management/chef had all changed-we were very disappointed that the food was awful; shells in the crab bisque, pot roast served as prime rib and shriveled greasy supposed coconut crab.

what happened
I used to love the Harbor House. Chef Dave was a master with food; it was sad when I heard of his departure. They hired a younger chef to fill his shoes which he did quite well to my surprise, bringing in new features while still keeping the great dishes I've loved through the years. He has since moved on and took any hope for quality food.
The restaurant is under new management and has a cook rather than a chef who has done nothing but bring down the reputation of the restaurant serving awful, awful food. PLEASE bring back Dave or the other guy and return the Harbor House to it's former glory.    [22 Mar 2007 00:25:27]
