A TASTY NEW TAKE ON MEXICAN This is the most amazing mexican eatery I've been to. The C.F. Cafe serves Baja-Mexican food which is very different from the overly greasy, and fried foods you find at other places. They offer a variety of dishes and even have many vegetarian dishes. All of their food is prepared fresh and complimentary chips and homemade salsa make the experience even better! [22 Feb 2003 16:27:39]

Best Mex in P'cola Fresh fresh food. Vegetarian choices for each dish. The black beans are awesome! And the place doesn't have that greasy air of most mexican restuarants. A nice place to take a date. But bring your own cerveza y vino(it is allowed) [02 Nov 2003 13:46:24]

Very good, very authentic I've gone to the Cactus Flower many times since it first opened. The prices have gone up a couple of dollars because the food is soooo goood. Everything is made fresh for you. The Guacamole dip is fabulous. Vegans be weary, the Rice is made in Chicken Broth; so just order the beans instead. I think one time one of the dishes I had was a bit salty, but only one time of like 100 is a great statistic. Stay away from the fountain in the middle of the store or you'll be wet most of the meal. They also allow you to take your own alcohol in to have with your meal. [07 Nov 2003 12:41:54]

Pricey, But Very Gourmet Good I have not had one bad thing to eat here. The pinto beans are very good, and the fresh lettuce surrounding the dishes makes it a very special Mexican meal.
This is not a standard Mexican food restaurant. It's gourmet. Expect an exception.
Friday and Saturday nights... this place is packed out. Also every day at lunch, it's packed out again. Get there early. Don't let the ugly building fool you. It's good. [27 Aug 2004 22:34:35]

Best Guacamole ANYWHERE This restaurant has the best food in town, but the guacamole is the best! It is fresh everytime and worth every penny. Be prepared if you order the burrito, it's HUGE! [27 Mar 2006 13:35:51]

Fresh Fresh Fresh... First time going here and it was FAB-U-LOUS! Food has a fresher, more healthy taste than other Mexican Restaurants. Nice interior as well. It worked well as a "date place". Higher prices, but you can make more than 1 meal out of your food. Guacamole was awesome to boot, served warm but that's because it's made fresh! LOVE IT!! Will be back for more! Bring an empty stomach! [02 Aug 2006 13:41:53]

NO service My husband and I went to Cactus Flower one evening for dinner.
First, it took the host about 10 minutes to even acknowledge that there were people waiting to be seated. He was walking around the restaurant talking to people, didn't have time to seat guests. When we FINALLY were seated, we waited 15 minutes and never saw a server. We were brought chips and salsa, but no water and no server. Nothing. Don't eat here unless you want to be ignored.
