Not Bad This is basically a cowboy type steak house. There's not much on the menu. Just your staples at a steak house; various cuts of beef, chicken and a couple of fried seafood dishes. Their steaks are marinated in their house marinade, which is very good. It's a little on the vinegary side but beautifully grilled. The server was friendly but had little knowledge of the menu items when asked.
Overall, it was a simple, down to earth place with pretty decent food. [16 Mar 2003 02:01:58]

Very Good Place To Eat! Been going to this steak house for years. Marinated steaks are perfectly cooked and have excellent taste. Ask for extra "sauce" (the marinade, I guess) to put on your meat and baked potato! Once I had the fried shrimp and it was lightly battered and crispy. The only draw-back for me is that the building was once a barn and the middle of the floor shakes when people walk by. [23 Mar 2003 22:52:41]

Great Place for a Great Steak Saddle up partner and get ready for a down home country steak experience. If what you are looking for are appetizers of all kinds and neon lights and TVs around the bar then you're better off going to a chain restaurant. However, if what you are after is a wonderful steak and a rustic one-of-a-kind atmosphere, then Coash-N-Four is where it's at. The steaks are very tasty and cooked to your specified perfection. Don't expect a hundred different options with your meal here. It's served cowboy style with a potato and a salad. Really and truly the best way to eat a steak of this caliber. If you're a down home easy-going country boy or girl, this is the place for you. [08 Jan 2004 10:41:34]

A good local dinning experience This is a Western style Steak House, but the best part of this excellent meat place is that you can custom order the thickness of whatever steak you order without a hassle. Also, the cooks certainly know the difference between medium rare and just medium. [10 Jan 2004 13:51:47]

Ask the locals~ Always a good steak I grew up with Coach N Four as THE place to eat a steak in Pensacola. It sits directly across the street from Five Flags Speedway, a 1/2 mile stock car raceway we would visit on Friday nights. Now that I no longer live in Pensacola, each time I return "home", we have to fit in a dinner or two. As other reviewers noted, it is simplistic and casual. You come to enjoy a good steak, and that's what you'll get. [17 Aug 2004 17:15:43]

GREAT STEAKS AT REASONABLE PRICES Everyone in my family picks this place to go for their birthday or other special occasions. The steaks are great, wonderfully marinated. Ask for some extra house sauce with your meal, it is great. They also have the best homemade onion rings in town. [29 Sep 2006 10:04:50]

Wasn't Impressed!
After reading all the great things we couldn't wait to try out this local favorite; once there we were greated promptly, and ordered right away. We placed our childrens order first along with the appetizer and then when she returned with the drinks we ordered ours. After ordering we had to wait over a hour for all of our meals, including the kids (hamburger and Chicken Tenders) to be finished. We watched other couples and famlies sit after us order and receive their meals before us. When asked the server had to reason for this (like our order was given to someone else or something.)
Ribeye had no flavor very dry, Magnum Migeon was soaked in some type of marinade (over kill) very hard to finish. Looked and tasted like sirloin steak (brought to servers attention and she reassured me that was there migeon. The baked potato was over cooked. Service was okay, we had to get our own ketchup and salt off another table since our server didnt check up on us but once every 30mins.
We will not be returning to this resturant again. Sorry Coach and Four we just weren't impressed and for the price everything should have been perfect! [20 Dec 2006 19:02:54]
