Great family breakfast

Food is very good. A basic, straight forward menu, but everything on it is good, with generous portions. Lots of off-road parking. Easy access. A '50s diner atmosphere. Have eaten there every Friday morning for the last 4 years. Has a very devoted and loyal clientelle. Clean and well lighted. Has the only "sit at the bar" in town. Beautiful old cast iron, screwed to the floor, revolving bar stools. Come early...after 7am it's crowded.    [18 Mar 2004 14:13:31]

Excellent Breakfast, Fast 'n Friendly Service!
Had the staple southern breakfast, butter 'n cheese grits, 2 x sunny side eggs, 2 x strips of hickory bacon, 2 x sausage patties, side of hash browns, 2 slices of buttered toast w. jam, coffee, orange juice, and water. EXCELLENT MEAL, fast 'n friendly service. Very busy establishment, but you are in and out in a jiffy! The Coffee Cup is a Pensacola establishment landmark.. Breakfast Time
If you want a great, cholesterol filled breakfast with eggs, thick bacon, sausage, coffee, grits, and lots of buttered toast (wheat or white), this is the place. Probably the best local breakfast in Pensacola.

On Cervantes Street (U.S. 90) just east of I-110.

Old-School diner food at it's absolute best!
Classic atmosphere, wonderful service and unsurpassed food quality. Walking in is like stepping through a time portal to the early 1950s. The prices are great, too.
