Casual seafood dining with a nice view This restaurant is on the beach and has outdoor seating available. My young girls enjoyed the delicious seasoned popcorn shrimp. My husband had the well prepared crab stuffed Grouper. My New Orleans BBQ shrimp was a little lacking in flavor, but improved with a little Tabasco. The hushpuppies were large, moist, and delicious. I thought that the She Crab soup was fair, but my husband really enjoyed it. It made for a nice little lunch for the whole family. We will definitely visit this place again, although I will sample something besides the BBQ shrimp. They have a decent beer selection and offer [16 May 2004 18:50:58]

more like the crap trap!!! while vacationing in perdido key we stopped there for dinner. i just assumed that while in fl all seafood restaurants would have good seafood..boy was i wrong... my oyster dinner tasted like a frozen meal my corn on cob was also very watery like it sat in pot of water too long the coleslaw was awful...the only thing i enjoyed was the hush puppies!!! our bill for 3 unsatisfied customers $120.00.........DONT WASTE YOUR TIME [17 May 2007 15:48:28]

Not worth the money This place was very touristy. The food was mostly fried or drenched in heavy butter cream sauces. The ambiance was lacking; it was very noisy and although it is just off the beach, all you can see are the cars in the parking lot. It was also pricey at $73 for the two of us. [28 Jul 2007 22:58:57]

A Family Favorite! My family along with my husbands family spend a fabulous week at the beach every year. I think last time we ate at the crab trap three different times!
The gumbo is excellent and the crab claws are also a favorite! The lunch prices are very reasonable and we have recommended them on several occasions to people who are visiting for the first time! Keep up the good work! [04 Jun 2008 11:37:36]
