Good Food, Neat Atmosphere I discovered Ronnie B's Taste of the 50's driving back to my house one day. I finally tried it and enjoyed it very much. Their chocolate malt was awesome! The service was good, and the pictures, album sleeves, and other 50's decor was quite interesting. I'd recommend this place to anyone who digs that old-school diner feel. If they only had 50's hot rods parked outside like Mel's Diner at Universal Studios, it would be ultra cool...but still a great place. [01 Feb 2004 22:19:15]

Best 50's Diner Around And I've been to many of them in the area. Including many that have long since faded into oblivion. The staff is friendly. The food is obviously not that of a $25 a plate bistro, but it is far better than you would expect for the modest pricing. The music may be a bit more modern than 50's sometimes, but the place is covered in 50's records, 50's cars, waitresses in poodle smocks if not skirts, and all kinds of 50's memorabilia. It is one of the few small family businesses left in our world of mega-corporations, and you can feel it when you are dining there. [01 May 2006 20:20:44]

Disappointed My wife and I went to Ronnie B's on a whim. We really wanted Reuben sandwiches. They were not on the menu so we decided on French dips and conch fritters. When the waitress told us that conch was an "endangered species" and no longer offered I paid for our untouched sodas and left! Frozen conch fritter batter is available from every restaurant supplier in South Florida. [04 Jan 2007 21:23:27]

Ahh, Good Food, Good Times My family and I have been visiting Ronnie B's for almost 10 years now and continue to enjoy the atmosphere, music, good food and good pricing. Go back in time and enjoy a glass of Vanilla eggcream...ooh, it's to die for. Brought me right back to my younger years in the Bronx. The only thing I really miss is the singer that sang all the oldies and we all sang along with him. Bring him back! [17 May 2007 17:10:54]

Have these people visited the same Ronnie B's? Do you not mind paying $5 for someone to crack open a can of grocery store bought soup and serve it to you? Do you like your rolls burnt? How about a trail of ants following you to the restroom? Well, if you've answered yes to these questions and have a deep appreciation for stale air, lost waitresses, sour soup, and mixed up orders are your deal, then Ronnie B's is the place for you.
