A Restaurant Not To Miss!
If there's any restaurant not to miss while in the Daytona Beach area is Inlet Harbor. It is one of the areas best for dining and great food. My wife and I never miss going at least two times while vacationing in the area. The seafood is fantastic and the atmosphere is bright and tropical. Make sure you don't pass this place by while visiting the area.    [12 Feb 2004 00:21:34]

THE WORST!
My family and I got soooo sick from food poisoning after visiting the Inlet Harbor Restaurant! The restaurant is DIRTY, the atmosphere is CHEESE; the food is average and the staff is down right rude!

After my family and I got over our vomiting spell that lasted a full day, I gave the restaurant a call and spoke to the owner who insisted that it was not her restaurant that made me sick, and then hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!
If you want to overpay for below average seafood, be harrassed to buy souveniers from their gift shop and then puke your brains out, go to INLET HARBOR!    [09 Apr 2004 14:21:10]

Great Outdoor Dining
Be sure to head south of Daytona Beach on A1A and head into Inlet Harbor. The outdoor deck has entertainment and a great menu for outside dining. The view is great too. If you choose to eat inside be prepared for quite a wait. Our choice is to sit outside and enjoy the music, drinks and eats.

Don't miss this place!    [13 Jun 2005 11:08:47]

No reviews in the past year so here goes
My wife and I had not eaten at Inlet Harbor in over a year and we live about 25 miles north of it. We went on a Sunday afternoon, 8/20/06 about 12:00 noon. The inside restaurant was about 1/4 occupied and the outside deck not quite half (very low for a Sunday afternoon with live music. My wife had the coconut shrimp and I had the prime rib sandwich. The shrimp was tough (both of us tried it)and the waitress took it back and asked the chef to not cook it as much. It came back and was better but still tough. The waitress, Pamela, told us it was part of the crackdown on quality of food because of price. Yeech...find me a better restaurant! My prime rib sandwich was cold and the meat medium with no pink showing. The baked sweet potatoes instead of fries were good (and that's about all that was good). We heard the management changed about 6 months ago - that probably explains it...it's a great place to drink out on the deck, and if you're out boating and want some "grub" the food will probably do you, but it is not quality food. It's a shame because this is a great location.    [21 Aug 2006 15:48:58]

Area's Best Hands Down
I recently visted Inlet Harbor with my family on vacation. Man what a spot it was, the views from the property were amazing, to say the least. We came to the restaurant on Saturday evening and though the restaurant being extremly busy the overall experience was great. Walking into the restaurant we were greeted with warm smiles from the hostesses, however much to my hungry families dismay we were told that the wait for a table would be between 45 minutes to an hour. The hostess assured me that they would do everything to lighten the wait and to kill a little time enjoying the live music on the restaurants huge riverside deck. So we moved on to the deck which was packed! I approached the bar to get some drinks and was immeadiatly served by a delightful bartender; after a half hour of listening to great music our pager buzzed for our table inside. I thought man that was fast, I wouldn't have minded if it was longer since My family was having such a great time on the deck.

Inside we received quick and polite service, despite the restaurant being as busy as it was. All my family's food came out prompt, hot and you could tell that the seafood was fresh (the Island Grouper was to die for). I could go on more about how great our experience was at Inlet Harbor, but I will tell you this, I have eaten at many of the area's restaurants and Inlet Harbor is the one that My family and I will continue to visit every time we are in the area.    [10 Dec 2006 19:31:51]

Never been inside
I have been to Ponce Inlet pretty much once a year for the last 33 years. I remember when the restaraunt was shut down and the only reason to go there was to fish in the small pond they used to have next to it. Anyway I have only eaten there a couple of times inside. It was ok at best, nothing to brag about. Eating on the deck is very nice for a drink and a burger. The only problem with it is it smell; I guess from all the spilled beer that wasn't washed away. But you still need to go there.    [15 Mar 2007 17:22:06]

Inlet Harbor
Do Not eat here, I am a local and can tell you that most if not all locals avoid this place, because it's dirty.    [23 Mar 2007 16:21:11]

Horrible
I'm a local. Used to be good. Now it's horrible. The seafood is rubbery and not fresh (pretty bad for a restaurant on the water). The ladies room was nasty. I had to cover my nose and mouth so I would not vomit. Somebody had vomited and it was obviously old and had not been cleaned in a long time.    [25 Jun 2007 15:44:03]
