DRIVE THRU SERVICE I WANTED TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION AN INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED THE OTHER EVENING (2 NIGHTS AGO). MY FAMILY AND I DECIDED TO GO TO BURGER KING TO GET THE #9, CHICKEN SANDWICH, THAT WE LOVE SO MUCH. IT WAS RAINING CATS AND DOGS AS WE PULLED UP TO THE SPEAKER OF THE DRIVE THRU. I ROLLED MY WINDOW DOWN SO I COULD HEAR THE CASHIER AND WAITED FOR ONLY A COUPLE OF SECONDS BEFORE I HAD TO ROLL THE WINDOW BACK UP (SINCE I WAS GETTING SOAKED). SINCE I KNEW I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR THE CASHIER, I DECIDED TO PULL ON UP TO THE WINDOW TO PLACE MY ORDER. THERE WAS NO CAR BEHIND ME AND ONLY ONE CAR ALREADY AT THE WINDOW BEING WAITED ON. ONCE I APPROACHED THE WINDOW (STILL NO ONE BEHIND ME) THE CASHIER WAS WAITING FOR ME WITH HER HANDS FOLDED TOGETHER AMD LEANING ON THE WINDOW SILL FACING ME. I APOLOGIZED TO HER FOR NOT PLACING THE ORDER AT THE SPEAKER, BUT IT WAS RAINING, I HAD TO ROLL ME WINDOW UP AND I WAS AFRAID I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR HER. SHE IMMEDIATELY TOLD ME THAT SHE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE MY ORDER AT THE WINDOW. SHE SAID IT WAS AGAINST COMPANY POLICY. SHE SAID THAT I WOULD NEED TO GO BACK AROUND TO THE SPEAKER AND PLACE THE ORDER. WELL, BITING MY TONGUE AND KNOWING THAT MY FAMILY WAS SET ON GETTING THE #9, I PULLED BACK AROUND TO THE SPEAKER, (STILL NO ONE IN LINE)AND PLACED THE ORDER. SHE WAS EVEN THE PERSON ON THE SPEAKER THAT TOOK MY ORDER. ONCE I PLACED THE ORDER AND PULLED AROUND TO THE WINDOW SHE SAID THAT SHE GAVE ME A LARGE DRINK DUE TO THE INCONVENIENCE. BOY, THIS HAS BUGGED ME FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS AND I KNEW THAT I HAD TO TELL YOU ABOUT IT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WAS PROVIDED WAS UNACCEPTABLE. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE PEOPLE LIKE THAT WORKING FOR YOU. I HAVE BEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND WOULD NEVER TREAT A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT. THE NEXT TIME I GO BACK (IF I GO BACK) TO THE BURGER KING LOCATED AT 3811 NOVA RD, PORT ORANGE, FL, I WILL GET THE NAME OF THE LADY WHO WAS SO RUDE AND HUMILIATING AND THEN I WILL BE SENDING A LETTER DIRECTLY TO THE PRESIDENT OF YOUR COMPANY. I KNOW THAT THAT IS NOT THE WAY YOU WANT YOUR CUSTOMER'S TREATED. THANK YOU FOR LISTENING.
