Something different / Fun
You sit around a grill with others and they bring your drinks and some very good soup and a tasty salad. You order off a menu and then the chef cooks some opening goodys for everyone around you: Fried rice, veggies, mushrooms. Then each person gets the main course cooked right in front of you while some wacky guy is throwing things around and setting your dinner on fire!

This was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The total cost for 2 people was $42.00 plus tip.    [18 Nov 2000 20:30:48]

Terrible Food!
We traveled 50 min. to try the over-rated sushi. First of all, when you walk in, the restaurant smells like moth balls!
The soup was warm, the Ginger dressing on my salad didn't even taste like ginger and the sushi was so bad that my family and I left our rolls on the plate. The dumplings for appetizer had this dipping sauce that words can not explain how bad it was. Please keep in mind that my family and I eat sushi out at least three times a week, so we "know" what good sushi is and this has to rate as the worst place ever!!    [18 Jun 2005 15:29:05]

Great Food
Sorry mr "terrible food" that the one time you went to Chi Ling your food sucked. I go there once a week because their food is addicting. They are awesome!

Service is great and the food is above great! Whether you eat sushi or enjoy the tables you will have a great time.

The atmosphere is very welcoming and I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant, and I am astonished to hear anyone say otherwise, however they are a little pricey.....    [24 Apr 2006 19:55:30]

Great Food, but slow service..
My wife and I visited Chi-Ling on Easter Sunday of this year, when we were both hungry and searching for a decent restaurant that was open. Now, let me say that we have been to several teppanyaki restaurants in the past, but this one had the best show by far!

We did have to wait nearly an hour for our cook to arrive, but when he did, it was worth the wait. We are willing to let the time slide 'cause of the holiday, and may try this restaurant on our next visit to the Daytona area.    [03 Aug 2007 16:10:01]
