Lousy food, bad service, filthy floor etc!!! We went there with several others from Atlanta, and sat at the back of the bar, where a very rude blond bartender, attempted to wait on us, I think her name was Carlin or some thing like that. When we finally got her attention, she took her sweet time to get our order, when the food finally arrived, it was cold and greasy, the floor looked as though it had not been cleaned in over a year. My husband was extremely ticked off with the whole situation there, especially the rude bartender. Dont go! Go to Inlet harbor down in ponce inlet, MUCH nicer place, nice people, great food, view, everything.Or just down the road, BOONDOCKS in Wilbur by the sea, also great!! Yes, the Deck down under in Port orange, should be re-named the"DUD DOWN UNDER" dont waste your time or money. Vanessa Campbell [03 Jun 2005 01:18:24]

We keep coming back! My husband and I love this place. It's kind of odd the way you stand in line to place your order (it's always been at least a 20 minute wait in line) before you find a seat, but the food is worth the wait. We've never had a bad plate of crab legs or shrimp. The wait staff is usually always quite friendly. And if you sit around the deck by the water, you often get a show of dolphins or other sea creatures. [14 Aug 2005 17:10:34]

Our favorite fish joint There are a lot of great restaurants in our area and Our Deck Down Under is among the best.
We bring at least 12 people with us every few weeks or so. The atmosphere is...well kind of "fish camp" and perhaps the place can't be used as an operating room but the food is great as are the sunsets over the river. If you want a huge plate of delicious seafood and real cold beer this is the place. I recommend getting there EARLY to avoid the lines which can go out to the parking lot. [21 May 2006 14:55:22]

Can't be beat!! Where else can you go and see tatooed bikers standing in line with bankers and lawyers in their three-piece suits, all waiting to order some of the best seafood this side of heaven? Do NOT miss your chance to try the spicy shrimp (get ready to make a mess)!!
Can't wait for my next visit............. [14 Aug 2006 15:11:49]

What a Catch Here!!! Don't worry about waiting in line to get into this place. It is worth it. Or would you rather go to a place where you can get right in and get yesterdays food!
Go where the locals go for great food. Get a table on the outside near the water. The birds on the nearby island sometimes number in the hundreds. It is a protected sanctuary in the middle of the intracoastal waterway. I always get the fish dinner, and my wife gets the scallop basket. You won't get a larger serving anywhere else. Most of the dishes are fried, but I have had them broil the fish. I have seen the fish sandwich come out; It is HUGE!! Six fillets, stacked in twos, like firewood! Enjoy.
I am a Port Orange resident and this is the first place we bring our visitors to this area. [02 Aug 2007 16:11:17]

GRREAT FOOD! AWESOME VIEW! What's not to love about this place? The seafood is fresh, you're sitting on the water watching the sunset and the fishing boats come in, and you can come in a suit or your swimsuit. Walk, boat or drive here....just get here. I lived in the neighborhood for years, and now that I live in another part of the state, this is the first stop when I come home. [18 Nov 2007 15:07:42]
