Since 1988, the Cha Cha Coconuts location at The Pier has been a favorite gathering spot for locals and visitors alike.

For food and drink not service
Went for lunch today (Oct 19th) and surprised to find a full house.

Clean tables and seats were very hard to find.
Food (at 1PM) was slow, but tasty. Service was almost non-existant. I had to get up to contact the waiter twice; even so, he delivered the wrong drinks.
Good servers scan their tables for needs, but ours didn't even ONCE look at his area. Other waiters had similar habits. The 10% tip I left was not earned.
NOTE --- 15% tip is included for parties of 8 or more ... good luck!!!

As of this date, I don't recommend dining at Coconuts; the food is worth a wait, but eternity is a long time.    [19 Oct 2002 12:37:20]
