Yummy!
This is quality seafood at a good price. Every time I'm in St. Pete there is no doubt where I eat; it's always here. Not the best atmosphere to take a date but you will get your money's worth. I highly recommend.    [05 Aug 2003 15:09:44]

Great seafood!
The Fourth Street Shrimp Store is a real find. We have eaten there several times, and it has always been wonderful. The seafood is always done just right. You can get it not just fried, but also boiled, broiled, blackened, over pasta. If you get fried, you can be sure their breading will not overshadow the sweet, succulent taste of the seafood. The place is not fancy, but it is kind of funky, and pleasant. You can eat inside or outdoors.    [10 Aug 2003 00:29:40]

Long time survivor
It has been 15 years since I last passed through the doors of the Shrimp Store; and while some of the eclectic ambiance has changed, the dedication to friendly service and good cookin' has not changed.

The place is cleaner than before, to an almost unbelievable level. The very clean kitchen is open to public view if you look for it.
Don't judge from the street ... GO IN.

Foods are cooked to perfection; this may be the reason that this little hole in the wall has existed long beyond its local peers.
