Owned by ex-Dallas Cowboy Crawford Ker, this location is the 2nd in a growing chain. The original, on Ulmerton Road in Largo, was created when he purchased the already operating (Hooters competitor) "Knockers".

The 2nd
Popular with yuppie wanna-bes, this location was renovated from a 50's style diner. The restrooms are "original equipment".

Food and atmosphere are direct spinoffs of the popular Hooters, but no orange shorts.

The original wing recipe WAS the best in town, but lately they seem to be prepared with cheaper ingredients (and smaller wings) by slipshod cooks.    [02 Sep 2001 07:32:49]

I go to the hillsborough ave restaurant for lunch.
Melissa T. is always prompt in greeting me, or any other guest, as soon as we arrive. Her service is excellent; my drink is never empty, and she always asks if the food is good.
I have never been happier with the service at any restaurant.
