Good Food, Great View. I love fresh seafood, and they have been consistently good with the grouper sandwiches. You might want to ask for extra spice if you like, the blackening is mild. [15 Sep 2005 00:48:42]

I love Crabby's I've been eating at Crabby's in IRB since I was 21 - I'm now 38. Junior and all the rest have always taken great care of me and made me feel at home. After 4 kids there aren't alot of chances for us to go out to eat but, Crabby's is still my FIRST choice- I'm going there tonight! [04 Nov 2005 18:25:35]

Happy Canadians I know the locals must get sick of Canadian tourists at times but we are never made to feel this way.
We have been coming to Indian rocks location since 2003 at least once a trip; great service, food and prices. Crabby,s is very child friendly which helps.
We love seafood and we love Crabbys [18 May 2006 12:59:15]

Great place to eat!!!! Four years ago was the first time my husband and I ate at your St. Pete restaurant; since then we have moved to Florida. We enjoy coming to this restaurant at least two times a month. The food is great and so is the service. You have customers for life here. [10 Jul 2006 20:53:29]

Almost fell asleep waiting for dinner Sat. July 15th. Decided to walk from the Tradewinds Hotel to Crabby Bill's.
We were on vacation from Atlanta, Ga. We heard some people on the beach saying how awesome it was. Well, we got there about 8PM, and there was a wait. We finally sat down about 9PM. The kitchen/waitstaff was clearly in trouble. We didn't get our meal till after 10PM. Other diners around us were getting perturbed. We sat there for an hour eating stale crackers.
When the food finally arrived, it was just "OK". Nothing to write home about. Maybe we will try it the next time we go to St. Pete, because they might have been having a bad night. But not so sure yet. [19 Jul 2006 22:53:10]

Brilliant Birthday at St Petes Beach From outside, the place looked like a shack and we'd walked past it each previous visit for 5 years. With a family birthday this time, we asked for a recommendation from the concierge and ended up at Crabby Bills. We're glad we did.
The seafood was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. My sister still drools when she thinks of the blackened chicken alfredo and would kill to go back for one.
The special treatment, with announcements and fuss-making for the 5 year old birthday girl, despite it raining heavily, was amazing - she really loved it.
We're going back in September to celebrate my birthday! [21 Jul 2006 16:04:37]

I'd look further... My sweetheart and I dined at "Crabby Bill's" today in St. Petersburg. Let me say first, that every restaurant can have an off day. But here's our experience:
We stepped inside and waited to be greeted by a woman who we guessed was the hostess. She was busy messing with the front door, which was no problem. We asked her if she was the hostesss, and she replied "yes." After that, her responses were fairly short. She had a face that would haunt Popeye the Sailor, and her disposition matched the "Crabby" moniker, which I guess is part of the shtick. But that's cool. Anyway, the atmosphere was fine for a tourist-trap kind of joint.
We split the crab/spinach dip and the Key West combo platter. The mahi mahi, shrimp and rice all seemed overcooked. The fish also had the texture of having been frozen for a while. The corn seemed like it had been sitting in a can for a long time. We drank iced tea.
With tip, the bill was $36.00. We didn't feel well for the next few hours. All in all, I'd say that if you're looking for excellent seafood in St. Pete's at the same price range, you'd do well to look further. I've definitely had much better seafood in Dallas Texas, which is kind of suprising. [05 Jul 2007 19:04:14]

YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! This has got to be the worst places to eat on St.Pete's beach! Terrible service, waited for 20 minutes before asking hostess to get us a waitress. Food, was terrible! We order conch fritters that were green on the inside and burnt on the outside. Everyone's meals had been overcooked and then possibly reheated. Waited for 15 minutes to get bill and got tired of waiting so we then waited by the hostess and finally our waitress showed up. The only good thing this place has going for them are their $1 margarita's. People have to be drunk to think Crabby Bill's food is good. Later that evening, all of us ended up with gut rot and were fighting over the bathroom. [09 Oct 2007 15:51:11]

nasty nasty nasty Worst seafood I've ever had. Cold, greasy, frozen. The place was dirty as well. The folks who are writing positive things about this place must have been drinking heavy, owners, or have never had anything but fish sticks as far as seafood is concerned. Believe me, you don't want any of this stuff. [18 Oct 2007 09:40:05]
