We Love It Here
My wife and I first ate here on our honeymoon in 2001. We have since been back in 2002 and 2003. We both have had restaurant ownership experience in Rhode Island (pizza, pasta, seafood) so we are fairly particular when it comes to Italian cuisine. Matzaluna met our demands and more. The pasta is actually served hot. No small achievement in Southern Florida. All of the dishes we have had have been excellent and ample.
Our usual refrain at the end of our meal is: "Basta"! (That's Italian for "enough.")    [06 Dec 2003 04:00:48]

Terrible service and mediocre food
This is April 2007 so maybe a new group is now operating this restaurant. My experience was NOTHING like the 'the pasta is actually served hot' person in 2004. In fact our dishes were served rather cold and very late on a light traffic evening by a VERY RUDE and UNRESPONSIVE waitress. Whatever it was in the past, this is a poorly managed 'window dressing' type restaurant - suggest you order out if you really want to eat their food but I would assume there must be some better alternative in the area.    [12 Apr 2007 04:45:19]
