Surprisingly good The service was average but I was pleasantly surprised at the food. I dislike seafood and usually other items are limited and tasteless but I had a fabulous meal. [04 Oct 2001 02:22:02]

Bonefish Grill I had the shrimp and scallops with the mango salsa and it was great!! The corn chowder was the best I've ever had. My husband had the tuna and said it was superb. Great food, nice ambiance and great service...what a winning combination! [10 Feb 2003 09:31:01]

Bonefish Reels in Patrons Bonefish Grill is a division of Outback Steakhouses, and the quality and homemade dressings and sauces, and multiple martinis shine throughout the chain. I was plesantly surprised by the restaurant as a whole. The decor was modern yet warm. The staff was friendly, talkative, and attentive. Our reservation on a Friday night was honored immediately without the delay so often encountered. I chose the Seabass with the Mango Salsa (On the side.) The Seabass was cooked perfectly, charred a bit on the outside to enhance the grill flavor, and perfectly cooked in the center. The mango salsa was piquant, sweet-hot. The caesar salad was very good as well, the dressing being homemade. My dining partner had a nightly special: Salmon with Lump Crabmeat, Spinach, and Tomato-Lime Garlic sauce. The crabmeat was plentiful and sweet, the spinach barely wilted, and the tomato-lime garlic sauce was simply amazing. He chose the house salad with the house citrus viniagrette. The mixed greens were adorned with kalamata olives and hearts of palm, along with the requisite tomatoes (ripe and supple.) The again homemade dressing was spectacular. The side items were standard fare: Garlic Mashed potatoes were good if not spectacular, the "Island Rice" was wild rice and lacked some in spices. Dessert was lacking, what was touted as "Creme Brulee" was actually vanilla pudding with a caramelized sugar crust, rather than the decadent custard of a true Brulee. But still good, we finished every bite. Overall, I enjoyed the experience tremendously, from the attentive servers to the wonderfully aromatic grilled fish. I cannot wait to visit again. Best Key Lime Pie ANYWHERE! Start off with the Calamari. Has a nice flavor and is cooked to perfection. Not rubbery like many places! With the fish selection they have, you cannot go wrong...get the Grouper Picatta, or try anyone of their fish on the menu with the tomato-lime-garlic sauce. Absolutely a wonderful sauce to bring out the flavor of the fish, and when you are finished, prepare to feel like you are in Key West Florida, because i have yet to find another restaraunt that beats this Key Lime Pie. It is a deep dish and has a wonderful flavor (not too bitter) and has a very firm and creamy texture! An absolutely wonderful restaraunt!! [02 Sep 2003 16:40:57]
