I believe its the best I've had in all of Florida for pork. I eat there all the time when passing through. I've only order pork where ever I go because - it ain't bbq unless it's pork.

Their sauce is like Johnny Harris's (Savannah, GA) and is home made. A perfect match served on or off of the meat. Brunswick Stew is very good and slaw has pickles in it for a twist.

i stopped in to the 7-11 and could not help but go next door when i noticed that the bbq was actually smoked on site i will never go anywhere else there sauce is the best ive ever had and fried pickles are to die for!!!    [22 Feb 2008 13:59:51]

WITHOUT QUESTION THE BEST DARNED BBQ THIS SIDE OF THE MISSISSIPPI. HUGE PORTIONS, FLAVORFUL MEAT, BAKED BEANS TO DIE FOR, AND SO ON...YOU GET THE PICTURE. WHEN IN SARASOTA DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP IN TO THIS LITTLE SECRET. FRIENDLY FOLKS AND NICE CASUAL...LOOSE IS MORE LIKE IT...ATMOSPHERE.
