Ophelias Pasta House Nokomis
Ordered mussels for an appetizer which arrived with plenty of shells but few mussels. After complaining to waitress a dish containing a few more were brought to table but no better then the first attempt. Service was not only slow but requests for additional napkins and drink orders needed to be brought to her attention several times. No one bothered to ask how the food we ordered was. It was almost as though the restaurant was doing our party of four a favor by allowing us to eat there.I thought my dish of spaghetti with red clam sauce very good, however this place does not have it's act together and we heard similiar complaints on poor service and general lack of attention from other patrons. It's common restaurant practice to inquire if the meal is satisfactory. Unfortunately this is not the case here. I can only speak for this one experience however I am certain this type of lack of attention was not appreciated as reflected in comments made at at least one adjacent table.    [06 Feb 2005 16:53:41]
