Good Enough
In this area, there are no choices for fine dining, so it is always a surprise to find something half-way decent.

Denim, cotton, and polyester are the main materials for the uniforms of both clients and staff here. And seafood is the chief ingredient of the best dishes. Nothing fancy, but the place is clean and roomy. The staff was pleasant and efficient during our visit, and I must say, the oyster stew was some of the best I've had in a while - simple milk-based stew with a generous dash of pepper and at least a half dozen oysters in my cup and many more in my wife's bowl. Oysters are currently offered at a premium due to hurricane induced shortages.

For my main course, I chose the flounder, broiled, with a salad. Vegetables were very fresh and the salad came with two portions of dressing on the side (without my asking).
When the flounder arrived, I was astonished at how many pieces were on my plate. There must have been 12 5-inch pieces of flaky tender flounder broiled and seasoned with butter and a few mild spices. A couple hush puppies seemed stingy, but they were both sweet and tasty.

We did not try dessert, but I'm sure we will return when we want a good seafood dinner at a modest price.    [08 Dec 2005 22:33:47]

Food was fine. Service was really bad. Snotty little girls, very hateful. I had the all you can eat fish. Got two pieces to start. Reordered and waited 15 minutes got nothing! Reordered, waited a long time. Got up and left. Felt like I got screwed out of my money. Can't find out who to contact about this. I think the people who own this place should know.
