Early Bird's Love This is a wonderful little sushi spot with extra friendly staff and great food. They have the best early bird dinner in town everyday from 5-7. Though no sushi is included you can add a roll (I prefer the Chronic!) [06 Oct 2003 11:03:45]

THE WORST Just ate there last night and this was the worst sushi I may have ever eaten!
THe hot rolls were cold and the fish was fair at best.
I wouldn't go back if it was FREE! If you want good sushi, don't go there. [08 Apr 2005 14:17:21]

BAAAAD SERVICE If your idea of fine dining is winding up in an ambulance, Su-Shin's your place to go.
As a vegetarian and someone with allergies to all sea life, when you specifically ask your server for a vegetarian dish with "no seafood, fish or meat," that's exactly what you expect to get. Instead I found what appeared to be a root type vegetable in my dish that after taking two bites I inquired what the item with strange form and consistency for a vegetable might actually be. It turned out to be a fish cake. Instead of being apologetic about the situation, the staff essentially tried to tell me that it wasn't their fault and "oh, you'll be okay." Not apologies, not a formal visit from their manager to deal with the situation, just insensitive comments after admission of their own negligence with no culpability for their actions.
After spending the last three days recovering from my reaction to this fishcake, ruining my out of town plans for the weekend, and still in no shape to eat solid food, I think that we can all be certain that their "food manager" who uttered the above comments was in no way qualified to make any such comments.
So, if you want an evening of poor service, threatening behavior by staff for their own negligence (and yes, I mean physical threats by members of their staff against multiple members of my party) and mediocre at best food (according to the other eleven guests in my party), Su-Shin is your kind of place. Not to mention, you may end up in the back of an ambulance for their own negligent behavior with regards to needs of their guests.
If I could give a negative stars rating that would be certainly be reflected here. [01 Aug 2005 23:11:13]

Best Sushi in Broward Great food. Very fun time. Great for Birthdays!!! Great fun for a large party with little private room to sit on the floor and eat. Sushi bar is great too. I only go here for sushi. Fish is very fresh. [25 Sep 2005 16:34:18]

Been Going for Several Years We have been to Su Shin hundreds of times over more than 10 years. We have taken family, friends, of all ages, tastes and except for a very rare occasion, the food has been very good and the service pleasant and efficient. We have tried other Japanese restaurants in the area and out of town- and we keep returning to Su Shin. Their rolls are consistently TOP. [21 Jul 2006 16:04:19]

Whenever I'm Home Su-Shin is my favorite Sushi restaurant in the universe. I have been to restaurants from California to New York and I have never had anything like a Roscoe Roll anywhere.
When I lived in Sunrise I was there every Thursday through Saturday. I even used to have my own chopsticks there.
On a bad day I dream of being able to order their Oshitashi and a Harusame salad [30 Apr 2007 18:53:14]
