Tops in Town
Angelo's, in an unlikely suburban shopping center, is a first-rate restaurant run by the third generation of a Greek family that has satisfied Tallahassee diners for many years. The restaurant is small, so the owner/chef can produce consistent high quality. Broad Continental menu and everything's good. The owner's wife reigns in the dining room with a personal touch. Our party had a bit of a wait since we were walk-ins on a graduation weekend. It was worth it, however. The service was pleasant and the dishes all-around enjoyable. Especially delightful are the vegetarian angelhair pasta dish and the French silk pie. [29 Jul 2004 10:42:35]

Do not split a dish
We have been dining in Tallahassee for years but were floored when we went to Angelos. We generally split a meal - since most restaurants serve you too much and we are trying to eat healthy. So we order the Imperial Grouper to split and an extra side salad. We were charged $7.00 to split the meal and charged another $3.00 for the side salad - the food was good but we will never return. Angelo's!
The dinner was really nice, and the girl who waited on our table (Nakima) was exceptional. She didn't know our son has a fatal condition, yet she was so friendly!! I have never seen him smile so much from a total stranger! Thank you, Nakima. Overall, the food was great and the service was fabulous. Thumbs up!! [18 Nov 2007 03:41:47]
