Dry, dry, dry
My husband and I wanted to give Banjo's a try since the nearby Sonny's was packed to the gills. What a huge mistake that was! We had been to Banjo's in the past and had a decent meal then, but this time was an absolute disappointment. Service was extremely slow even though there weren't that many people in the restaurant. When our "Feast for Two" came, we were taken aback by the dry looking meat in front of us, but we had been waiting awhile and were hungry. We should have paid for our iced teas and left at that point. The meat we were given was not fit for a dog to eat! The ribs were hard as a rock and inedible. The chicken was incredibly dry and tasteless. We paid a total of $23.62 (not including tip) for this pathetic excuse for a meal. I would have asked for the manager and complained, but there was no one around (I had to hunt our waitress down so I could pay our bill). I believe this was the worst "meal" my husband and I have ever had. If Banjo's continues serving "meals" like what we got tonight, they'll be closing their doors very soon!    [15 Mar 2008 20:56:35]
