It is every bit it's 4 hats and more!
I was there for the 2001 Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting. I didn't know this place has so many other things. The owner told me they have over a 1200+ retail wine selection... cheeses, beer... oh my! Anyways, we ate the appetizers of Chicken & Spinach Tortillas as well as the smoked salmon crepes... everything was soo good. It definitely was an experience, rather than just another night out at a boring restaurant... thank you!    [27 Nov 2001 23:24:57]

Great Place to Eat
I just love this restaurant. It is the first restaurant that I have been to out of the norm (Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc.). Other restaurants have nothing on Clusters & Hops. The ambiance is just wonderful for a first date, and many after that. The food is delectable. I especially enjoy the escargot in burgundy wine. It's a must have. I love their huge selections of wines. It's wine paradise for wine lovers.    [11 Jun 2003 19:11:43]

One of the best anywhere
Everytime we get back to Tallahassee from a Metro area, and eat at one of the 5 star restaurants, we go to Clusters and it stands up to all of them, right here in this little town.

Amazing what they put out of that little kitchen!!!    [29 Jan 2006 17:46:00]

Evening Shots - Suggested, Update Them --
What is ambiance without the sense of a small European family owned business, not that this is. An exceptional resturant, ambiance, service, frontshop.

Highly recommended, somehow we need to ask the owner not to close on whims and go to Argentina...but with regrads... he deserves a break too while the rest of us boo hoo when the store is closed.    [02 Mar 2006 16:54:30]

Fabulous Food and Staff
The food is absolutely incredible.

The only issue I have is that they do not do any substitutions AT ALL. It can be difficult for vegetarians, such as myself. Even when this is addressed to staff, they simply state... the chef is proud of his ability to pair flavors and unfortunately does not make any exceptions....

However if you can look past that the food is amazing!    [30 Jun 2006 12:19:11]
