I Just Love It Cypress is on my top 5 restaurants in Tallahassee. I absolutely enjoyed their flourless chocolate cake. Yum [11 Jun 2003 19:02:30]

Bad Service The food was wonderful; atomsphere was great; but the service was borribli at least for the bartender (Staci) (mis-mixed drinks/chipped glasses being served) Hopefully they will find another bartender soon. [12 Aug 2003 14:22:20]

Great dinner Great place to take clients. Service is 5 star and the food is the best in town. The linguni was great. Very good wine selection - try the Stags Leap. [10 Sep 2003 15:49:32]

Don't bother going Drinks at the bar before dinner passable. Crab cakes smaller and less tasty than competitors. Entree sauces were bland and portions too small and flavorless for the price ($21). Presentation missing. Butter plate dirty - asked but never got a clean one. Creme brulle nothing to write home about. Waitstaff friendly in insincere way. Could go on and on. Would rather have gone to Mosaic or Kool Beans. [11 Nov 2003 19:23:45]

Lunch is Fantastic New Lunchtime menu is just as delightful as the dinner menu. Had the duck salad - delicious!! Good prices, nice atmosphere - great for mid afternoon glass of wine. [03 Dec 2003 23:39:32]

Tasty Lunch but Only Adequate Service Lunch is my first visit here. The ambiance was relaxing and the music was classic soul and reggae played at a level that made conversation easy. My prosciutto and brie sandwich with fig preserves and basil provided a pleasing texture with contasting sensations of salty and sweet mixed with a delicate herbal quality. While not as warm as I would have expected the meal was presented satisfactorily. The homemade waffle chips were exceptionally light and crisp if a bit too salty. The dab of shredded salad could have been a bit more generous but was pleasantly dressed. On the other hand the server, while of congenial attitude seemed not to interested in my table, never once refilling my water glass nor even checking on my table. This occurred while she was serving only 2 other tables with a total 5 guests. To get my check I had to put my credit card on the table to alert her that I was ready to go. Tallahassee is a working town and not all patrons have the opportunity to while away their time waiting on the wait staff. However, the food out weighed the lack of service and I definitely plan a return visit. I fully appreciate the proprietor's contribution to Tallahassee's dining experience. [24 Nov 2004 18:28:26]

Classy Tallahassee My three visits to Cypress would rate among my top dining experiences in Tallahassee. Excellent food, trendy atmosphere, not your run-of-the-mill Southern restaurant. I'd recommend Cypress to anyone looking for a great meal and a place to meet their friends. Centrally located on US 90 between US 27 and Leon High School. [23 Dec 2004 11:23:48]

Hole in One Dinner, Double Boggie Service. Excellent food- one of my favorite restaurants in Tallahassee. I would probably go three times a week if it weren't for the unhelpful service. Still a great choice!! [29 Jan 2005 15:45:47]

Good Food in a Small Town. The food is fantastic at Cypress. I highly recommend the oyster appetizer or any soup on the menu. Yum…Yum… [15 Feb 2005 16:29:54]
