Awesome Food and Service!!! The food here is very original and full of flavor! The ambiance is cute, with local artists' work on the walls and in the gallery. The servers and staff are all very friendly, since its a family-owned place. Its not a fast food place, so go here when you have time to have a great, leisurely dinner. [01 Feb 2002 11:45:32]

This place ws truly wonderful!!! In all honesty, my fiance and I went here because we had the entertainment card and it was very close to our house. Well, we have been back since a couple of times with parents and friends, and love it. The atmosphere and service is something you can't find anywhere else. Anyway, we love it so much, we are considering having our wedding and reception there! [28 Apr 2002 20:25:03]

Server insulting, rude and arrogant Dined at restaurant on December 28/03 with girlfriend and the two children. The interior of the restaurant was basic and well decorated. At 6:00 p.m. the restaurant was devoid of customers other than us. Once the menus arrived, the children requested a kids menu. I ordered a jambalaya for me, a meal sized caesar salad for the girlfriend, and one for the two girls to share dinner (this was the only item on the menu they liked or were familiar with). A smaller dinner size salad was brought and the waiter brought a second plate for the girls to share the salad as he made a snide remark about sharing. Although we could have requested the proper size salad we ordered, the decision had been made to eat and leave ASAP. My jambalaya came; it was good, and I commented on this to the waiter.
Throughout the meal, before and after, we were subjected to rude innenundos - "Girls, how was your shared salad?" The feeling was we should have bailed out of the restaurant with our first contact with the waiter and the thought was reinforced throughout the meal. I suspect the waiter was actually one of the owners. The children felt intimidated, girlfriend insulted, and felt I the humiliation of selecting a dud restaurant.
Would we return here? - No. Would I recommend the place? - recommend to find another restaurant. Given time, this place will be out-of-business. [13 Jan 2004 15:41:25]

Great experience! We drove to Tampa to join my son and his girlfriend who were interviewing at USF. They asked around for a restaurant with an original menu and ambience. We sat on the patio under the trees and stars and had a thoroughly good time. The food was out of this world and our waitress, Lucy, was friendly and efficient. The 3 Palms salad was great, and my entree' of Pargo y Papas (Snapper) was so delicious that I had to keep commenting on it. My 4 year old had a bowl of pasta that was brought to her immediately. I loved this restaurant and hope my son chooses USF so that we can return! from Vero Beach [02 Mar 2004 08:43:17]
