Worst Meal Ever
We visited on 3/18/06

Over Priced, Over Rated, lousy food, service and a manager that seems not to care - we were there and saw at least 3 tables walk out. $25 for a New York Strip that was overcooked. The only thing this place has going for it is the view of the bay    [19 Mar 2006 10:32:25]

Great views, fresh seafood and good service ain teh most romantic spot!
This restaurant has been a landmark in Tampa for long time. The Sunday brunch has always been a hit with a Carving station, Pasta station, Omelet station and a Banana's Foster station. I love the Eggs Benedict, Ahi Tuna and fresh Tomato and Mozzarella salad. This will also include the free champagne and Mimosa’s after 11:00 am, due to Florida Blue law on serving alcohol on Sundays.

They changed the menu recently and added several great dishes that go well any time of day or mood. The Grouper sandwich my wife had was fantastic, the best she has ever had. We all shared the combo appetizer that had crab stuffed mushrooms, fried calamari, spinach dip with fresh tortilla chips and coconut fired shrimp.
The view is absolutely the best! If you want a romantic spot that has great food and service and won’t break your budget then this is the right place for you.

The wine list is a little small for my tastes but it was nicely done, all wines where available by the glass or bottle. The server made several suggestions to go with the entree's that where right on the spot.    [21 Nov 2007 06:22:49]
