The real deal
We went for lunch and just kept going back.

The food is outstanding! The portions are very large and the prices are very reasonable. Service is very good. I didn't try the house specialty (whole snapper) but did try the seafood sampler and the greek sampler. Both were outstanding and more than I could finish for around 14 dollars. Soup, bread, and fries or veggies included. They also have a coupon for free soda/tea on the Tarpon Springs website.    [02 Jun 2005 21:37:19]

Californians Liked Mama's
Salad was delicious with an outstanding house dressing....
My Greek spaghetti was very good, and my wife's lamb gyro was excellent. The service was also terrific.

Yum yum!
The food is awesome and so is the service! This is one of the best restaurants ever! The proportions are large, so that you wont leave with an empty stomach.

My daughter and her fiance come to Florida to visit every few months and we never miss the chance to stop at Mama's. The food has never disappointed, the service is friendly, the prices unbeatable. Its not on the main tourist street in Tarpon, so it doesn't get the crowds - but it is a favorite of the locals who know their Greek food.    [02 Oct 2007 22:01:11]
