Italian Restaurant owned by Greeks makes Great Evenings
Food The dish we tried was the Seafood Pasta complete with lobster, scallops, and large shrimp in white sauce. The flavor was to die for. The presentation was on oversized bowls, perfect for the shells. It arrived piping hot from the kitchen. The portion was a little oversized, but worth the price.

Service The waitress was very helpful, and she answered questions about the menu with no hesitation. The dinner went smoothly, with the best of service.

Ambiance The restaurant was very clean, with no smoking allowed. The kind of patrons who frequent the place are a good mix of locals and tourists. Many looked to be in business for themselves. The bathrooms where out side and quite clean.

Other Compared to other similar restaurants Old Tavernier seems to be in the top 5 in the area. Similar to the Fishouse, Sundowners, Marker 88, Bentley's. It's a type of restaraunt that you recommend to a friend, and would be good for some special occasion (kid's birthday party, romantic dinner, even a good place to go with a group up to 25. I have known the owners for 18 years, and have sent many people to dine there, all have told me of great food, service and value.
