Roll of the dice
Been there several times, when the owner is overseeing operations it is great; when he wasn't the service was spotty. Long delay in drink order and delivery. The oysters were served spoiled. I feel had the owner been there he would not have served the rotten oysters.    [03 Aug 2005 07:56:05]

Watch out for the 'priced daily' items. Steak and lobster tail....small medallion of steak and a small rock lobster tail, $36.

Thanks for the Memories
Paul's used to be one of the best places in Titusville to have a family dinner, to take a client, to watch a shuttle launch. But times have changed, service has fallen flat, and the food quality has suffered. Often, the vegetables taste like poorly cooked canned veggies (Ick!) One reviewer said it was a 50/50 shot. Our experience in the last three years has been more like 30/70. (In case you don't get it, that's only 30% chance you'll get GOOD food or service, Ouch!) Great place
If you're ever in Totusville, give this place a try. I prefer the lounge upstairs. The atmosphere is wonderful along with the drinks and service. I would get the prime rib or seafood combo (broiled) and the saute is great too. Also don't forget to try the seared tuna. Try the Pasta Del Mar!
I stopped into Paul's Smokehouse for the first time a few months ago and now I eat there regularly.

The pastas are excellent! Pasta Del Mar is my personal favorite, and the Broccolli Chicken Pasta is a close second.

Prime Rib is tender and juicy.

Grilled Yellow Fin tuna is wonderful when cooked rare to medium. If you order it over, expect it to be dry. It is tuna afterall.

A large selection of dressing, many of which are home made. Other homemade sauces include their warm BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and a very unique ceasar dressing made with curry! They also have delious homemade bread.

They have updated their menu, and as you may also notice they have uped their prices. Which is reasonable considering the economy and food costs.

Food is overpriced.

Service is horrible the bartender was rude. The place is being cleaned up outside that is starting look real nice. Lower your prices .. Hire some new people that really want to work.

The pasta dishes are really good but seem to have shrunk a little, and the price got higher; they do have Margaritas for 2.50 everyday. That is a plus.

My waitress seemed a little tired and complained about her teenage child too much for me; seems to want sympathy to get a bigger tip.

I would say go but, if your waitress complains or you stick to your chair or the bus boy brings you a dirty napkin to wipe the table off leave.    [03 Oct 2009 16:14:33]
