GOLD RUSH BBQ!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!
Gold Rush BBQ is definitely the place to go for great BBQ.The babyback ribs are the best I've had. And the service went right along with the ribs!! The tumbleweed fried onions are to die for. And the cornbread is as good as it gets.It's a casual, family style place with a great feel. All you can eat specials, too. My sister and I go to Venice once or twice a year and the Gold Rush Restaurant is on our "must do" list.

We always get "The Mother Lode" and split it - there's enough with some left over. I consider myself a lady, but when we go there I eat like an absolute pig.

CAN'T PASS THIS ONE UP!!!!
I'm telling you WHOA!!!! Not the run of the mill rib joint! The place looks like an abandonded mine shaft from the outside, but once inside your mouth starts watering from the AWESOME aromas! The bbq was great but we loved the salads and the seafood just as much. Not the same old bbq menu like other places. Yam patties!
If you want to eat a meal, I mean a MEAL that fills you up so well you could have it as your last meal, then go to Gold Rush! My god, the Yam patty appetizers are the most delicious thing I've eaten!
