Look someplace else for a waterfront retaurant
At one time this restaurant was fairly good. It's hard to call it a seafood restaurant though.

It doesn't have Crab Legs or Lobster. They use to have a variety of Grouper, but have replaced ALL their Grouper with Cod and are trying to pass along to you that "Cod tastes as good as Grouper". NOT SO! Not only does the Cod taste bad, they kept the prices up to what Grouper use to sell for and Cod is a cheap fish.

I recommend you find someplace else on the water to eat. It is not worth the wait!    [22 Feb 2008 16:47:54]

I have eaten at the marker many times and yes as with the times there have been changes. The good thing is they tell u about them . many seafood rest serve what they call "grouper " and u have no idea it is cod. But u love it !! Ha Ha to u. Lobsters?? Are we in main ?? No one can be overly impressed with Fla lobsters!! Only Yankees!! and same goes for crab legs .. love those frozen little work hard to get any meat out things... ?? and pay a hefty price .. but oh .. we can get them all u can eat ! YUKK. certainly u won't pay premium for King crab which comes from the north as well . Try the onion rings mmmmmmm yummy! try a blackend cod dinner again yummy and lots of it ..

The marker is one of the best places to eat in Venice...
