We dined there on St. Patrick's Day. The food was very good, but I have one complaint. Our drinks, Manhattans, were served in plastic cups. That is very low class for a nice restaurant such as theirs. We were not attending a picnic when this would be acceptable. I recently visited with friends who live in The Villages (2/29-3/3). One of the places they really wanted us to see and experience was Katie Belle's. (They are trying to convince us that The Villages is the place to retire) As it was a Saturday evening and very crowded, we decided to just have one drink and listen to the music. Unfortunately that did not happen. While our friends went to the bar to get the drinks, we were quite rudely informed that we were standing in front of tables where possible buyers were sitting and we were blocking their view. While we promptly moved out of the way, the same lady informed us that we could not stand in the corner where we had moved (out of the way of anyone's view)and did it in quite a rude way. We left the building! The gentleman who let us in the door was quite nice,invited us in and told us to have a nice time. Unfortunately that "lady" ruined the evening for us. (Unfortunately I did not get her name) Of course our friends were quite embarrassed when we explained why we were outside. If that was an example of hospitality in The Villages, it does not much appeal to me or the two other guests who were also visiting and looking at retirement communities.

we came from our home in new york to visit the villages,with friends who live there. they wanted us to see katie belles. what a wonderful time was had by all. the food was very good and plentiful. norman lee was the entertainment,very talented,but loud. sue our server was by far the best. can't wait to visit again,thank you cattle barron staff it was our pleausre.    [17 May 2008 10:10:58]

My mom and I came from New York to visit my grandma and grandpa. My mom, my grandma, and I all decided to go to Katie Belle's. Let me tell you: Best time ever! The entertainment was great and so was the food. Not to mention the employees were fantastic and cute! Superb entertainment
We had lunch at Katie Belle's when there was an amazing singer entertaining there. Her name was Ginger. She made it all worthwhile. The food was ok, nothing special. But the singer, wow!! What a voice! I hope she is booked often.    [03 Sep 2008 17:24:17]

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE !!!!!!!!!!!
My Husband and I have lived in The Villages for 8 years and have seen all the restaurants and country clubs etc. We have always loved Katie Belle's for a number of reasons. We love the ambiance, food and warm welcome always given us each time we come. We usually come 2 or 3 times a week.
