Why can't this place be moved to NY Once again, another fantastic Disney experience. This past trip to WDW included two trips to the Cafe for dinner, two consecutive nights. The food was fantastic, the service was enjoyable as always. [15 Sep 2000 16:35:44]

The best time I ever had at a restaurant I never had so much fun!! I went to the restroom and when I came back out my waiter came up to me and took me through the whole place asking if anybody lost me. It was so funny! Then I didn't eat 4 bites of my chicken so he did the airplane thing from when you were little and had the whole restaurant in on it!! And it turned out that our waiter was originally from the same city I live in. I would definetly recommend this place. I can't wait to go there again in October on vacation!! It was the highlight of my trip! [17 Jul 2001 21:37:19]

These waiters are the best My family and I have been to the Prime Time Cafe 5 times already, and are planning on going back at least twice, during our next visit to MGM in May 2003. The food is deelish, and the waiters are the best. The first time we went, we had a waiter named Chris who yelled at me for not washing my hands, and sent me to the bathroom with a potty pass. He pulled me by my hairwrap and me stand in the corner and shamed me, and he made me do "I'm A Little Teapot" in front of everyone. I also had to write "I will not be mean to my brothers" ten times. He even force fed me. I kind of developed a crush on him, and my parents knew it. The next year we went back, we had a waiter named Harry aka "Dad". He yelled at me so much too. Then when my parents asked him if Chris still works there, he yelled,"Chris your girlfriend's here to see you." Well to make a long story short, Chris came over and we talked and Dad called us "young love". We've been friends with the two of them since. This is the most fun restaurant, and I would recommend it to everyone. [11 Sep 2002 15:08:50]

So much fun, and food is great!! The waiters and waitresses are sassy and funny, and the ambiance is that of a 1950's household, with "Mom" cooking your dinner in the kitchen. There are B&W TV sets at almost every table, where clips of old favorite shows like Father Knows Best are shown. The food is fantastic (fortunately); I say that because it is expensive, at about $20 per person. It's one of the best places to eat in WDW. [23 Sep 2002 04:20:07]

Always a fun time Good food and a great atmosphere. Enjoy the "nagging" servers and have a great time. While not exceptional, the food is very good, and very much tastes like meals "Mom" used to make. Well worth the time and money. [10 Apr 2001 11:56:13]

A Definite "Prime Time Cafe" is absolutely 'prime' and the time we had was a blast. The atmosphere and wait staff made you feel as if you were in your 'home away from home'. We knew what to expect, so we washed our hands before lunch, kept our elbows off the table, said 'please and thank you', and cleaned our plates. We ate the meatloaf and pot roast which were as good (if not better) than Mom's!! Desserts are huge, so IF you have room, you should probably share one or go with ice cream or a float. I suggest making reservations for lunch and dinner as soon as you get to the park. Hello to 'Auntie Gayle'! Overall, it was an experience that we will never forget and will talk about for years and years. AWESOME!
ChefMoz Editor's note: Reminder to readers - that WDW "reservations" are (at this date) called "priority seating" so the time you get will be for the next available table. And thank you Cynthia for your great critique! [11 Nov 2003 13:55:17]
