WE HAD LEMONCURD CHEESECAKE MADE WITH GOATCHEESE ABSOLUTLEY SUPERB. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE RECIPE. I was there years ago and cannot find it in ohio    [09 Oct 2001 19:18:51]

Love Akershus, but unhappy with changes
We love the Norwegian food, atmosphere and the service. However, on our last trip during December we were shocked to find that they had discontinued the
Chocolate Viking Ship dessert.

My daughter looked forward to this on every trip and will not return until it is revived. It is one of the superb items that separated them from every other restaurant. The replacement chocolate concoction was almost $7.00 and not as good.

I'm not a big buffet fan, cause they all sort of serve the same, low quality food, but this resturant was amazing. It's so different than the usual but it's awesome.
Some of the stuff you can pick is nasty looking, like the pickled herring and other such things, but it can be avoided.
It's a little pricey if you want desert or a water different than tap.    [17 May 2006 17:11:31]
