Great Game! Dining at Artist Point is truly a unique experience. With a lovely view of Bay Lake, you will feel like you are in a Pacific Northwest Lodge.
Artist Point specializes in wild game, including a fine buffalo steak and a cedar plank grilled salmon. Service has been outstanding every time we have dined there.
A note of caution, as with all Disney Restaurants, dress ranges from very casual to resort wear and the restaurant can tend to be on the noisy side. Ask for a window table. [26 Apr 2000 12:47:28]

Great Food and Great Service Food was exceptional, as was the wine. It was a little out of the way, but it made it even better. Like we found a hidden jewel at Disney World. [29 Nov 2000 10:17:50]

Good but EXPENSIVE While we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, we left without the feeling of getting our money's worth. Normally we feel the cost is justified at other full service Disney restaurants, but this one left us feeling cold. [10 Apr 2001 08:53:43]

One of the best dining atmospheres @ WDW. My friend & I had the first seating of the evening on a "light" night. The food was "OK", and service (from Johnathan) prompt but far from outstanding.
She had Roasted Cedar Plank Salmon with Oyster Risotto, and I the Roasted Halibut; we tasted each others & neither was outstanding. The risotto was undercooked; when we advised our server, he volunteered a replacement. I suggested they stop service until it's done! Note: the oysters overpowered the salmon and she suggests a hazelnut risotto.
The wine list is long, but very hard to find a good one for the price.
You will find no salt & pepper on the tables; as is common in restaurants with well prepared dishes, spices are by request only. I suggest you make such a request while placing your order.

Wine and Dine at Disney's Hidden Jewel Service was excellent as was the food. We dine here frequently and each time seems better than the last. My favorite is the Cedar Plank Salmon (especially Copper River) and I also enjoyed the Mixed Grill of Elk Tenderloin, Ostrich, and Venison. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine dining, great Northwest wines, and excellent service. Also check out www.artistpoint.iwarp.com [07 Jan 2002 13:53:09]
