My Favorite in WDW area
Very popular with locals, this eclectic hangout is my recommendation to visiting friends. I've never had negative feedback.
Patrons can be a bit "snooty" at times, given the gourmet style fare; I just ignore them.

I advise dining before dark; later in the evening, wait times of 1 hour plus are common.    [01 Nov 2001 10:45:32]

THINGS CHANGE
Well, well, well ,,, Things have just changed at one of my most beloved of favorites.

It is with great regret that I discovered (at lunch) there today, that the facility has been taken over by Levy Restaurants. Levy is self promoted as ... food providers "in stadium and arena clubs, concessions, convention centers, and racetracks worldwide"(see links)


My disappointment was overwhelming.

The quality has dropped and prices skyrocketed. How's a child's grilled cheese sandwich go for $5; mac n cheese for $6 ???

The attendance was thin ... a Spartan atmosphere.
The building is now dirtier than before, the staff looks tired and unhappy (as opposed to the bustling past) and I was just there 6 months ago!!!
The warm, home-like atmosphere has vanished.
