Solid food-good service-affordable
Simply Deelish is a very nice surprise in the middle of Wilton Manors. It seats perhaps 50 diners in two rooms, one for smokers, one for non-smokers. The menu isn't huge, but every dish is well prepared and the portions are large. They serve simple fare, well-prepared. My favorite is the Pot Roast. My wife orders the angel hair pasta in Gorgonzola sauce every time we dine there. The waiters are casually dressed young men who are uniformly pleasant and efficient. The dress code is casual (the waiters wear jeans) and you won't feel out of place in shorts. I have dined at Simply Deelish perhaps 6-8 times over the past eighteen months. My only disappointment was the spaghetti and meatballs which was completely lacking in flavor. Other than that one poor dish, I have been well satisfied every time. And when the check comes, you are in for a pleasant surprise. Last week, dinner for three, including drinks and tip came to only $56! Give Simply Deelish a try. We drive 20 miles from Boca to have dinner there and we are always glad we did.    [29 Dec 2001 21:40:09]

FORGET THIS PLACE
Service is non-existent. We went once on a Thrusday and had an OK meal but service was a little lagging considering four tables in the entire place!! Returned Sunday for 2nd chance. Waited 15 minutes for a table which is expected for this area Sunday brunch. Seated then forgotten...forgotten, as in we were seated next to the coffee service station that EVERY single waiter, busboy and owner passed by us many times, no menus, no coffee, no "be right with you". We sat for 15 minutes then walked out the back door. They never even knew we left. This seems to have been a decent place years ago..but now needs to be put out of its misery    [10 Jan 2007 06:12:46]
