Ate there Thursday 8/21/03. We both had char-broiled T-Bones at ~$12 each, including two sides. No baked potatoes (;<), but the garlic-mashed-potatoes w/gravy were excellent. I ordered pickled beets and got regular sliced beets. The steaks were huge, thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is clean, and relatively well lit. It's ambiance is border line Cracker Barrel style. The highlight of the evening was the live Bluegrass band which played 6:30-7:30, called Moonlite Express. They are a local group and do a phenomenal job of keeping everyone smiling. All in all, the night was very "home-townish". Recommendations: Much more variety. Would like to see a little more toward the healthy menu style with more fresh vegetables and perhaps fresh rolls or bread served with salads. Maybe an Italian dish offered to provide a little more variety.    [22 Aug 2003 11:21:35]
