Amazing New England Seafood If you are craving shrimp, lobster and chowder this is the place. Food is the best! [24 Feb 2001 23:55:21]

Yuk! Highly overrated. Way too expensive for a place that serves on plastic and styrofoam. Batter is bland and they are too cheap to even give you a side dish with a shrimp box. All you get for $9 is about a dozen shrimp with nothing else. I'd be better off buying a box of frozen Mrs. Paul's. [20 May 2001 19:33:42]

Fried Ipswitch Clams Originally from New England (Conn.) These fried full belly clams are great and I must say that I have never had any better. We travel for almost 2 hours each way to get there and love it. Probably the only place that I enjoy eating from paper plates and with plastic utensils. Cleaning or filtering the oil between lunch and dinner is great. We have returned as often as possible and my tongue is hanging out right now. We do expect to get over this Friday with friends. My only recommendation would be to stagger the filtering of the oil vats so that there is no waiting time. [24 Jun 2002 15:12:24]

Haddock, Fried or Broiled Originally from Upstate, NY, we also travel over 2 hours to eat at Boston's. Service is great, and the food is good, not greasy. It's worth the trip, wish there was one where I live. [26 Sep 2002 17:08:07]

Authentic New England Seafood! What a discovery! I grew up in New England and longed for the summers when I could go back and visit and have some great fried seafood. No longer, now I can have it anytime I want.
People that complain about the plastic utensils and paper/styrofoam plates have never eaten a meal in New England. [03 Dec 2002 10:09:25]

Cape Cod Critics Coming from New England I missed good seafood. After a visit here I told my husband, Yes I can live in Florida. It tastes like we're back on the Cape eating food fresh from the sea. Kate Crosby [28 Dec 2002 17:23:57]

Great New England seafood I have been going to Boston's at least once a month for years for my seafood fix. This is a family restaurant, and the servers have been there forever. The restaurant isn't fancy, but the food is well worth the wait in line. I recommend the fried shrimp and the lobster roll. [02 Jan 2003 14:39:49]

Wonderful Food!!! We go back as often as we can. The seafood is some of the best I've ever eaten. And, we always take out-of-town visitors to Boston's for a special treat. The prices are reasonable for the mounds of food you get. Order the box for just seafood, or the plate for seafood and fixings. Whatever you order, you won't be disappointed. Splurge and order the seafood fried...not broiled. Go early though to avoid the lines! [12 Mar 2003 20:15:45]
