When I ate the first piece of food I ordered I knew this was the best resteraunt I had ever been to!! The waitress knew everything that we asked her. She recited the specials flawlessly. We had a wonderful expierence. Our water glasses were always full. I had ordered the cajun meatloaf over rustic mashed potatoes topped with a creole tomatoe cream sauce. It was presented very nicely and came after our salads although we did not feel rushed at all. Chef Henry brought it out himself with the help of a waitress. Our waitress asked all the right questions and we never had to call her because she was always there right when we could ever possibly need her.The food was hot from the kitchen, fresh as we could need it, and the amount of spice was perfect. The portions were the right amount and everything on the menu had looked so delicious. Our waitress also made the best recomendations and our plates were cleared away quickly and efficiently. Our bill arrived at the exact right time. The bathrooms were very clean. The music enjoyable. The restaurant was very clean. The style was cajun, but no one could ever copy it. The patrons were always talking and looking happy. This place was a very kid- friendly place. They even had a kids menu. The price was reasonable and I thought that compared to similar restaurants this restaurant was better than anywhere I have ever eaten at. I will be recommending to all of my friends for special occasions or just a night out to eat. Defiently make reservations or you might not get in becaue it is so popular. And it is a good place to go with a group.    [25 Nov 2006 12:27:09]

Not real cajun. Nice spot to eat.
I have been to Henry's several times. The wait with reservation is too long. Seems to seat large parties, and will seat only 2 people at a 2 topper. Small size food and large cheese grits portions. Food cost I guess. Crawfish is steep $8.00 a pound. Stay away from the short ribs. Seafood is the best bet here.    [11 Apr 2007 12:55:00]

Unreliable!!!!!!!!!
I recently got a verbal agreement/commitment from Henry's to cater my wedding in July. Now it's November and they just called to tell me that a bigger better offer came up so they can't cater my wedding anymore! Thanks for leaving me high and dry! That is just so unethical!    [26 Nov 2007 19:17:41]

I had gotten many good reviews and reccomendations for Henry's Louisiana Grill and I decided to try it myself to see if this restaurant was as fabulous and spectaclar as my friends and co-workers described it. I walked in to Henry's and waited for about five minutes to be seated. The building was nice and big. There was a full bar as well as a lounge w/ the big dining room. I would definetly reccomend reservations because this reataurant is so popular so it may be hard to get in. This restaurant is kid friendly and can accomadate big groups. My party and I ordered our drinks and they came out as quickly as possible. The waitress always kept our glasses full. She was also always polite and cheerful. She also knew any questions we asked her about the menu. We looked over the menu after the waitress recited the specials flawlessly to us. Everything on the menu looked very good so I had a hard time deciding what to order. I personally ordered the Ooh La La, one of Henry's signature dishes w/ a side salad. Our salads came quickly enough. After we finished our salads and were waiting for our food, Chef Henry himself came out and talked to all the tables independetly. This was very nice and hospitable. Our food came out and it was hot, fresh, and had the perfect amount of spice. The flavor was perfect, very Cajun. It was presented very nicely and the texture of the food was very nice. Also, the portions were nicely-sized. After a few minutes, the waitress came and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. We, of course, told her that everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. We finished our food and we ordered dessert. our plates were cleared away quickly and efficiently by our waitress. I ordered Bread Pudding, another one of Chef Henry's signature dishes/desserts. It came out and was absolutely spectacular! It tasted like Mama's home cooking back in "the day!!" The bill came out at precisely the right time. The price was reasonable. After that, I was priveleged to see Chef's new buisness, Henry's Uptown. It is a private room upstairs along w/ some offices, a bar, and a full kitchen. I have gone to two parties there and it has been perfect. It even has a TV screen or DVD for buisness meetings, etc.. Also, the whole restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. The style of this restaurant is Cajun. It is family-owned and there is only one location which is nice b/c it is not some big trademark company. Compared to other restaurants, let's just say I will be going back there at least once every week!! It was the best restaurant I have ver eaten at!! I will definetly be reccomending this restaurant to everyone!!    [29 Dec 2007 21:33:11]
