Food This Evening Poor
The dinners that my wife and I had at Capt. D's were not very good. The shrimp at one time were quite a bit larger. What we received were shrimp that had been cut at least in half; we got the tail with a small amount of shrimp still clinging to the tail.    [23 Aug 2002 19:20:11]

Really Bad Takeout.
The fish was small and over breaded to make it look larger + it wasn't cooked long enough and was soggy with grease. The baked potato was left over from another day. The bread stick and green beans were ok. This was a takeout meal. We have gotten takeout at "Capt D's" many Fri. nights and most were good, not great, but this one was really bad. Worst Seafood at Capt. Ds Ever Gotten
My husband and I ate the country style fish, it was so small I nearly laughed. About the size of bacon strips. I think they may have slice a reg. slice in half. The coleslaw was not tender but hard to digest. The core must have been used.

Not As Good As in the Past

We Don't Recommend

Entire Family Had Diarrhea
Friday family night didn't go so well after eating at Capt D's. Shortly after our trip home my 12 year old son said he wasn't feeling well and shortly later threw up in the car. The effects took over a hour later to effect my wife Carol and our 14 year old daughter. Soon we were trading off rapid visits to the toilets and the flushing didn't end till almost 3am that morning. Unfortunately we had takeouts as well so Tina gave Puff our cat some of the greasy fish we ate- Puff threw up on our carpet and crawled under our king sofa and didn't come out till the next day.

Not A Great Seafood At All, They Claim To Be
The food at Capt D's me and my family gotten was cold. It took me 15 min to get my meal. The shrimp pasta Alfredo I ate had little sand or dirt in them. The Torpedo snack attacker had melted tarter. We Would Like a Captain D's in Longview, TX
We eat at Captain D's in Bossier, La. on Skyline Dr. and the Food is Great. It is also a clean place and they play relaxing, easy listening music so you can enjoy your food. Also the employees all wear plastic gloves which should be required everywhere.
