Great food - terrific service This is "our" restaurant. We drive up from Macon 100 miles at least once sometimes twice a month to eat here. Owner, Mr. Perry Alverez, and his super staff of waiters, provide completely first class service.
You'll be served REALLY hot bread when you're seated as well as water... no asking for the basics here. Then you will be served a glass boat with pickled carrot, cauliflower, black and green olives, and peppers.
I rather enjoy simple wines and the house Pinot Grigio is always cold - and they never "change" the house wines... so if you like to get "used" to the same things you'll really love Alfredo's because they rarely change employees or the menu - or anything. We love it.
The eleven different veal dishes are what keep bringing me back - but ESPECIALLY the Veal Franchese. The cost? Modest. The prices range from $12 to $15 for most of the main dishes. You just will not find a more romantic down-to-earth affordable (and unpretentious) restaurant anywhere.
It's our good fortune that it's only a 100-mile trip. Maybe you're even luckier than us - and live nearby in Atlanta. We envy you!!
Go and enjoy the best food you've had in many years - and tell the best waiters I've ever met (Tony, David, George) that Bill Trail down in Macon said "hello" and save us a place around 6:30 Saturday night, Valentine's day, 2/14/2004. THANKS GUYS for all that you do!
Overlook the "if-fy" adult shops also sprinkled along Cheshire Bridge Road. They don't do but one thing - they assure you that you've found the "DIAMOND IN THE RUFF". Other terrific eateries also will be found "up the hill" from Alfredo's but we like Perry's Place best! [13 Feb 2004 16:32:45]

Still the best May 16, 2005
Just want to let ALL of you know that Alfredo's (Atlanta) is still the best.
I only wish we lived a little closer. The traffic on I-75 just south of I-285 is pretty bad. Even so we still eat at Alfredos once or twice a month.
Thank you Mr. Perry Alvarez & Mr. Tony Romano for keep Alfredos just the way it is. Phone ahead for reservations at (404)876-1380 and tell them Bill Trail sent you!
FIVE STARS. GO. YOU'LL LOVE IT.

Excellent Italian -- Great prices We ate there tonight for the 1st time. The food was delicious and the service was so attentive. We had salad, soup, an appetizer, 2 main dishes, and desert for 65$ (tax and tip included). I thought that was a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend this place. Fresh garlic bread (all you can eat); great pasta; great veal, and the nicest staff. [03 Apr 2007 20:46:54]
