Description
The old place on Buford Hwy provided a friendly atmosphere and superb food, mostly simple favorites such as bun and pho. The new place, opening March 1, 2007, will offer an expanded dinner menu, giving opportunities to try more varied Vietnamese cuisine. There is a patio for outdoor dining and a banquet room for parties.

Chow Time Walk into a visit to the Orient. Vietnamese large screen entertainment and food you would expect in some far off place. Actually it is the best example of Vietnamese cuisine in Atlanta. Dishes are authentic and a wide variety of Vietnamese fare can be found on the menu. At least try the Pho (pronounced "fuhh") as it is practically a national dish in Vietnam. It is a hot savory broth served in a large bowl containing rice noodles, thin sliced beef, and other cuts if you like, and garnished with a variety of green herbs, bean sprouts, lime juice, and other condiments at the table.
Try one of the many rice or noodle plates topped with shrimp, beef, or chicken and vegetables. Ask for help from the friendly owner or wait staff if you have questions.
Don't leave without trying the cafe sua da, an iced French coffee with heavy sweet milk. It is more like a desert than coffee.
Finally notice that you leave with a satisfied stomach and money left in your pocket as the prices are astonishingly reasonable. [07 Jan 2004 20:21:06]
