The best we have, but could be better
After decades of mostly fast food restaurants, Smyrna locals flock to Cafe Michel to savor simple food with a continental flair in a quaint cafe setting. Come for lunch and dinner and enjoy everything from comfort food to seafood with a flair. The starters are excellent, the Lavazza coffee always fresh, and the portions generous. Breakfast is standard fare, but the kitchen somehow manages to serve toast and muffins that are at once charred and soggy. Service is a detraction and is not on par with the food, ranging from sometimes friendly to outright inattentive. Staff squabbles on a recent visit made for a disappointing meal. Cafe Michel Has Wonderful Food
Food was very good.
The decor is done so well, you feel like you are in a French country restaurant. The dinning room and restrooms were very clean. The service was very good.    [03 Aug 2006 21:05:19]
