My Favorite Restaurant in the World
I love going to Alan Wong's. While a bit pricey, the food is incredible and the wine list is excellent. I highly recommend the Chef's Menu -- they come up with a great variety of menu items and non-menu items.

I've been lucky enough to visit Alan Wong's 6 times over the last few years, and each time was as good or better than the time before, even though I didn't think it possible.

I've also taken my children, who were both just under 10 at the time. The entire family had a great time, and the staff treated us very well with or without the children.

Order anything with seared Ahi! My favorite items on the tasting menu: grilled cheese and seared Ahi sandwich, Ahi wonton (it looked like a huge spider), and chilled two-color tomato soup. (I had to fight my children for the soup!)    [16 Jan 2003 22:22:16]
