Very slow service
When I was visiting Maui, we had seen this restaurant in a magazine. We made reservations. When we arrived at the restaurant, a host never came to seat us. We were standing there for a good 15 minutes. There was another couple in front of us, and they never got seated either. They just seemed to over-look us. Needless to say, we never ate there. Great experience: terrific service and excellent food
We went to eat there tonight. It wasn't very busy, so the reservation was easy and we got a good table (for six). They have a nice atmosphere. (I liked the mellow music.) The waitress was very attentive, including to special requests (thanks, Patricia), and the meals were excellent. We had a number of appetizers and then pizza, eggplant parmesan, lasagna, and lobster ravioli, which were all done just right. It's not cheap, but not more expensive than other nearby restaurants. This restaurant is also easy to reach by foot in 15 min. from the Sheraton Maui Resort on a walk along the beach and golf course. It was altogether a great dining experience.
