The chef special was excellent, the fresh fish was well prepared and presented. The Ahi appetizer was very good also. Our last evening in Maui was marred by our waiter (our bus boy, Don was very kind and attentive), maybe he was having a bad day or something. I felt we were rushed, uninformed and just plain made to feel that we were intruding. Maybe next time it will be a more enjoyable experience. [01 Jul 2003 18:25:46]

Great place!!
My husband and I LOVE eating in resturants..it is one of our favorite things to do, so we were really excited for our trip to Maui. Overall we were fairly disappointed with a lot of the places that receive rave reviews, with a frew exceptions. One night we were exhausted and just wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before going to bed. We stubled upon the Rusty Harpoon which honestly only beat our other options because they had the shortest wait. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Our dinner and drinks were so good that we went back three times during our stay and were not disappointed once. The atmosphere is great, and you are basically right on the water. To top it off, the prices are great which is rather refreshing on Maui. We are going back in September and will definetely be back. [09 Jun 2004 21:43:53]

Don't Order Breakfast
The food here is good, but the breakfast was horrible. Not only was it way overpriced but cold. If you must go there, stay away from the breakfasts. [13 Dec 2005 23:11:34]

Best Place on the island
I was in MAui for three weeks and I kept turning back to Rusty Harpoon for all the great prices service and food. The have big screens all over the place every game I wanted to watch was on telelvision and they even have HD. Best happy hour on the island. The staff was great very friendly and made sure I had a great time. I would Highly recomend Rusty Harpoon. [30 May 2007 04:54:22]
