Don't Bother First of all when I called to make a reservation a woman answered and told me quite curtly that "they were not serving dinner that night. They had booked a party." Looking through some magazines and the local phone book to find another place for my family and I to eat. I happened to see Japanese Tempura Buffet listed. Nothing about dinner subject to change when a party is booked. So I thought I'd try again. Sorry I did! The next lady was nice told me that they were open and it was not Japanese buffet night (it was a Saturday night) but Chinese buffet night. Not a bad trade off I thought. Ha! I told her we were from the Mainland and could she give us detailed directions on how to get there. She obliged and told me that it was $17.99 per person too. Also she told me that they only serve dinner from 5:30-8:00 PM. The food was terrible! There was hardly anything to choose from too. And have you ever heard of a Chinese buffet without any eggrolls? Not that I am crazy about them but that's how seriously lacking they were on food items. For dessert, they only had this chocolate sheet cake with some white filling. We were still hungry so we thought we'd give it a try. It looked like someone brought it from home. It was tasteless. On top of that the same lady who was so obliging tried to overcharge me on beverages. She did overcharge me on the dinners. It is only $17.99 per person on the Thursday night Japanese buffet. Its supposed to be only $14.99 per person on Saturday night Chinese buffet. She charged me $17.99 per person. We overpaid $12.00 for that lousy food. My mistake that I did not catch that sooner. By the way there was a graduation party going on in the next room. I should have listened the first time! [04 Jun 2001 15:29:39]
